WB or Wagon back was a new concept in 1975.  Saab was way ahead of the curve at the time in making smart practical safe good working vehicles.  This is before Saab became trendy in the early 80's but this is when they gained their reputation for superior rally  cars and safety.  The wagon back became known as the hatchback.  Thank you for your interest.
